Incredibly friendly staff with a lot of heart! The food was excellent! No wish remained unfulfilled at breakfast! Great atmosphere both inside and outside! We'll be back ?‍♀️

Very good food ... and a great view

Very nice view over the Chiemsee and the foothills of the Alps. A beautiful hiking trail (number 16) leads from Bad Endorf via Antwort and Hocheck to Ratzinger Höhe, with an excellent panoramic view of the Chiemgau. Below is the inn with a wonderful playground for the children. The food was also okay, the service very friendly. A wonderful day despite bad weather.

Dear guesthouse team and also Hotel Berggasthof Weingarten, We were allowed to enjoy your hospitality, attention and cuisine for a week. Despite Corona times, you know how to deal with it excellently and to treat the guest as king, for that our respect. We felt very well looked after and will definitely be back. And to all the critics here on the net, just have the courage to convey your comments directly to the staff, because this is the only way for them to react accordingly and to learn. We wholeheartedly wish the host couple a lot of joy in their work and do not forget to pay attention to your needs. Oh yes, and when the landlord sits down at the table with his guests, that's definitely part of his representational tasks, and he does it very well. Thanks for the nice conversations.

Food good and not expensive. Great view of the Chiemsee. Unfortunately a bit slow service. But the order via scan works great.

We have been to this restaurant already in 2019. We were very satisfied with that. This year the opposite was the case. At first we tried to reserve by telephone. This only succeeded after numerous phone calls. Nobody answered the phone. The restaurant was well attended on the day of the visit. Despite this fact, only one waitress accepted the guests' wishes. As a result, we had to accept very long waiting times. The obvious owner was present but was very supportive of the staff. I could see how he sat at the table of other guests for a long time and did not wear a mask despite Corona. I don't think that's a good thing in these times. The food was okay, the prices adjusted and the service nice. Due to the bad organization and the behavior of the owner only 2 ?.

The positives first, the view is fantastic and the public playground is great. The food was cold, the salad completely tasteless and the service a disaster. There were still traces of lipstick on the glass and that in the times of Corona. The price, if at all, is justified only by the view. We will definitely not be guests a second time.

After this evening, words are missing. Where the good ratings come from is questionable. More self-expression than apple juice in the apple spritzer. Kaiserschmarren a disaster, the guests next to us said that too, but it was because they ate too slowly, according to the service. We would also recommend new foils for the menu, these are really not inviting, let alone hygienic in today's world. All in all - the public children's playground is great, away from the rest!

Here you feel comfortable, everything you need to have a nice stay or outing. The feeling on the alpine pasture, the view wanders from the Hochstaufen to the Hochries, the best thing is, the view on the Chiemsee and the castle Herrenchiemsee. With the great beer garden and the very nice hospitality this is an insider tip for the whole family.

Riesen Schnitzel was more like a normal schnitzel. Too expensive at almost 15 euros for a pork schnitzel. Map also quite clear. The panorama and the playground make up for it. But I don't understand why the playground is not fenced. The street is right next to the playground and the children can run into the street unhindered. Not good! Otherwise a very nice playground
